Traralgon police are seeking assistance from the local community after it was reported a person and dog were seen falling into Traralgon Creek this morning.<br /><br />Police have been told the person was seen walking a small dog in the vicinity of Whittakers Road when they appeared to roll up their trousers near the bank of the swollen creek about 5.30am.<br /><br />The witness believes the person and their canine companion were then swept away.<br /><br />Following a search of the area and after making a number of local enquiries police have been unable to confirm the pair was swept away however are concerned for their welfare.<br /><br />At this time, police have also not received any reports of people missing in the area.<br /><br />Police have released CCTV and images of the pair in the hope someone will come forward and help confirm their identity.<br /><br />We're also appealing for the person themselves to come forward so we can ensure they are okay.
